Campaigns and Events

The most meaningful project I worked on while at OU was a campaign for Phillips 66. We were tasked with designing a campaign for the company to implement alongside the centennial of Route 66. This campaign took us a semester to create, including meeting with the clients and presenting our campaign to them.

Another key part of my time at OU was the year I spent as Alpha Omicron Pi’s Director of Philanthropy. In this position, I planned three big events for the community and numerous smaller ones for the members of the chapter.

I worked on a campaign for Phillips 66 from Jan. 2025 to May 2025. With our student-run agency (Align 405), we created an omnichannel campaign for Phillips 66 in relation to the Route 66 Centennial. Serving as our research director, I created a survey to gather information on individuals’ understanding and perception of Phillips 66. I conducted and compiled information from interviews with those in our target audience and created an A/B testing survey to allow our agency to know what would pique their interest in the campaign. I also used Brandwatch to discover online sentiments towards Phillips 66 to further help guide our campaign. Some of my other roles throughout the campaign include budgeting and scheduling.

For secondary research, I completed organization research, publics research, competitor analysis and situation analysis.

I served as the Director of Philanthropy for Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Oklahoma from Nov. 2023 to Nov. 2024. As the director, I planned events for hundreds of people, managed a budget, fundraised and communicated about the event. One of the events I hosted was called “Sweets for Students”. I promoted the event at local elementary schools and raised funds for them at the event. Another event I put on was “Car Smash” to raise funds for the Arthritis Foundation. The following day, I hosted an event called “Blue Jean Boot Scoot” to raise more funds for the foundation. Check out the events below!

Events

Some of the other events I planned for the sorority included a trip to an animal shelter, making blankets to donate and Philanthropy Round of sorority recruitment. I also implemented numerous drives over the course of the year for various local organizations and members of our community.
